Ill fated.
Busy schedules.
Poor choices.
Technology failure.
Uncertain futures.
Whatever.

We set out to create something that would push our limits and subsequently our patience. An idea started out to create a collaboration between our band and ambient drone project St. Gilles. Taking turns, leading each other through sonic waves of aural despair scratching the walls of your mind. Trapped on the bottom of the ocean floor screaming, and screaming for something to happen. We drowned.

We never abandoned the idea. It just took some time to come to fruition and then, along with all the warnings in the world, it began to rot. Sitting on the hinges of failed planning, bad vibrations and a tour that inevitably killed the band. The idea fell into limbo.

So forget whatever promises were made and start today with a brand new slate because the important thing is that the idea is here. Complete. Although not in a physical form as we first intended, this is still the culmination of a lot of hard work, friendship, and dedication from both teams.

(We were lucky enough to play this collaboration live two times in the summer of 2010. Once at the Edmonton DIY music festival Ghost Throats and a second time at Calgary's Sled Island. It was fucking awesome.)
